Yes you are right, this is a good time to understand the bad time situations and how to over come/fight with it, how to become much stronger in the market, coz now a days also there are jobs but only for the perfect person or for those who are really the masters in there own field, so this recession time lets you and makes you to become perfect.

It is good that it happened early or else the damage will be huge.  Many people working in major companies to fill the bench were rightly thrown away. As for now there will be some good competition & only the most desired person will win the job.

The literate (thinking man) should weigh these hard times in a balance. There are a minimum of two sides to a coin.

One can look at the dark side of recession and be scared into becoming a nomad or recluse or file for financial delinquency. While money is important, there is more to life than just money. Career is about life itself and how you cope with circumstances. For starters the going may be tough but that builds fortitude and resilience with perseverance. There is a beginning to every career, some are conducive some not, but in essence it is a start. What one will make of it is left to the individual.

These are challenging times that necessarily does not facilitate motivation, but it does help you retrospect your state and study global trends. It also gives you an opportunity to re-think your career goals or maybe even relook at your career options. These are the best times to dig deep to test oneself and hone those skills that are necessary to be the best one can be; sometimes it even brings out hidden talents or skills one is not aware of and make economic sense if put to good use.

Recession is never pleasant; job losses being one of the many fall-outs. But to survive the world must revive and is a natural process. Essential commodities would be manufactured and essential services would continue to be operational and require increased effeciency. So, this is a good time for preparing oneself to step into a bigger shoes.

Lessons learnt during arduous times are invaluable and usually never forgotten - wisdom of hindsight.

A person who starts his career in recession gets the very rare opportunity to learn from realities.  The challenges stimulate more learning, pro-active thinking and better planning. He always strives to improve competence and skills, preparing to handle unforeseen issues.

Recession is good to analise to ourself... its a good scale to measure ourselves, our stringth, our knowledge and tell us where we stand and also give us the opportunity to update us according to the market.

OH oH Oh...great joke....It seems like the following statement" in mahabharatam , sakuni survived due to the sacrification of his 100 brothers"....Like this thousands of employees fell down due to this recession, then some hundreds of freshers getting jobs............how funny this debate is ........After 5 years you( with 60000 salary) will be removed from your job and two new freshers( with 10000 salay each) will be oppointed .......Is it a good method......NO not at all....In a similar way ....a recession is a recession which flooded away many jobs.....and many lives......

Recession is never good in any way......when someone has money in his pocket (savings) and he knows its enough for his temporary bad time (recession) then he says recession is good to think about future...updating....and so on. but practically recession is vary harmful for any economy or person. in current recession major portion of victims are from lower level (workers) which are already hand to mouth and in current recession after losing their jobs they are straightway on road. Many employees from middle level and top level also shooted from jobs. In US many people commit

so practically stuff is always differ from theory....so be practical.....
