My Apologies to all I know

Saturday, 10 July 2010

My Apologies to all I know

I know I could have been much better,
I know I could have given, more time and space,
I know I should have shared my life,
I now feel in my life, that vacant space.

I had been busy for the sake of it,
I never knew what to prioritise.
I have been lying to myself all along,
My life's plan, I could never devise.

I have my apologies to all my friends,
& family who always stood by my side.
I never was there, at the time of their need,
The true essence of life, I could never abide.

I never was strong, I faked at all time,
And raised expectations, broke them all.
It is now that I see, I'm going down,
The depth of my dug, ditch I fall.

Who do you expect shall excuse my err,
As I find my conscience won't excuse.
I see the repurcussions of all my deeds,
That make me disdained, and ever more confused.

It's my heart on paper, Not just a prose,
It's me challenging my Conscience sublime.
What we make, becomes of life,
I've started questioning myself this time.....

This poem is an honest refection of human mind and therefore truly a master piece, albeit human beings are seldom fully responsible for their actions and deeds. Man is just an instrument. As a matter of fact, his actions and status are governed by the circumstances and the thought processes not in his direct control. Sujeet, you are really a great as well as very humble human being who is apologetic about owning a state and stage of life that you are not really responsible for. It is always better to assume, everything happens for the best.

@reene: thanks
@Nitin Sir: there are more such articles on http://sujeetapologies.blogspot.com pls see through sir..
@Akshay: thank you sir.. seems you took it from heart. I regard this poem as my apology to the entire environment around me. the sunshine that wanted me in the morning, the moon that wanted to say good night, the rains that wanted to play with me, and winter breeze that wanted to share it's delight. i too had some stories in life, i did not finish... the pain of all these made me write this...
