The Channel Analyst’s job is to gather and analyze industry data and internal data and pull together conclusions and recommendations based on the same.
Responsibilities would include being able to work within a small team and handle multiple initiatives and reporting assignments simultaneously. The individual would also be expected to perform market and competitive analysis and provide solid recommendation to the business to act upon.
The individual would also be required to analyze and report on multiple data sets / key business metrics, create dashboard and interpret the data to provide business critical insights.
An exposure to companies in online space, plus an understanding of web analytics online marketing, search engines, social media, content business and competition tracking would be preferred.
o Solid background and experience in working with Omniture (Site Catalyst and Discover)
o Experience in working with industry tools like Comscore, Nielson and eMarketer
o A strong understanding of all MS Office applications. (Excel – Must have)
o An understanding and background in at least one statistical/mathematical modeling software
