Will be responsible to Support Global web Infrastructure.

Installation and configuration of operating systems & application setup

 Monitoring, evaluating & documenting system architectures and recommending improvements for performance, scalability or removing single points of failures

Expertise in Apache & Tomcat and/OR Weblogic is required

PERL / Bash shell scripting, monitoring & alerting tools experience required

• Must have a strong background in LINUX System Administration, system monitoring, and system performance tuning.

• Proven success in implementing alarming, monitoring, and reporting using scripting languages to create web based dashboards.

• Experience building host file systems, installing operating systems and software packages for application deployment.

• Experience with Linux and UNIX operating systems.

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Apache, Tomcat, and/or other web administration.

• Familiarity with Netcool, Remedy, and Remote Access applications is a plus.

• Experience troubleshooting Intel and SUN hardware.

• Experience installing customized software applications on UNIX/Linux platforms.

• Superior oral and written communication skills to interface with third party vendors, business owners, development, and QA groups.

• Experience installing and maintaining third party applications.

• Basic understanding of C and Java programming and the ability to build and install applications from source.

• Experience in SQL databases (MySQL, Sybase, or Oracle) and data warehousing.

• Experience with common network components and protocols such as: HTTP, DNS, SSH, Netscalers, and GSLBs
