Roles and responsibility for
Payroll Finance, Lead Accountant, A Client of Key2jobs, Bangalore:
- Processing monthly payroll entries
- Assist junior accountant on complex parts of processing payroll and perform research when necessary
- Closely monitor employee costs, in order to perform manual re-classes
- Work with HR/finance groups to ensure accuracy & completeness of personnel accruals
- Monitor accruals in order to recommend improvements & ensure accountability
- Analyze P&L accounts and prepare month/qtr/year-end analysis on material changes
- Prepare audit schedules as needed, Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation's on various personnel accounts, and initiate the follow up necessary to resolve outstanding items.
- Refine reconciliation procedures for several aspects of the personnel area
- Prepare monthly working capital forecast
- Ensure controls are in place to meet Sarbanes Oxley testing
- Assist with personnel-related special projects that are frequent, time-critical, and confidential in nature
Requirements for
Payroll Finance, Lead Accountant, A Client of Key2jobs, Bangalore:
- Strong Accounting Knowledge (more specific to payroll)
- Ability to comprehend complex journal entries in payroll and other personnel costs
- Ability to link and foresee the impact of one activity to other (for example, link payroll journal entries to variance analysis and balance sheet recs pertaining to payroll accounting)
- Analyze/Review Profit and Loss account for the personnel cost and record on material changes
