Responsibilities: Leadership
* Manage a team of 5-10 members .
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
* Own hiring process: reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing candidates.
* Perform annual performance reviews.
* Work with both North American and Bangalore management on resource planning and resource assignment for assigned sales regions.
* Track and report team metrics.
* Participate in Service Delivery management team meetings, representing Solutions Architects reporting to you.
* Partner with both North American functional management as well as Bangalore local management to establish and implement the vision and strategy for ESS Service Delivery.
* Escalation point of contact for issues or incidents that arise during a customer activation project.
* Build relationships with both the ESS Services and Service Delivery management teams.
* Manage internal projects and initiatives.
* Participate in technical discussions, technical problem solving, and technical initiatives within the team as well as cross-functionally.
* 5-7 years IT solution delivery experience within a customer facing role
* 3-5 years project lead experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for Fortune 500 customers; experience working on and managing enterprise scale J2EE projects
* 1-3 years management experience
* Project Management experience (PMP or Big 5 experience a plus).
* Must possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
* Must be action oriented, capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences
* Experience supporting a customer base in the
* Working knowledge of the full software development technologies including J2EE/Java, .NET, open source tools and various component models (CORBA, COM, Java Beans).
* Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies, thorough understanding of eCommerce, On-line Marketing, Web Analytics and Security and/or Digital Media
