• Monitor daily payment and funds transfer activity and identify exceptions
• Process daily returned item files and communicates result to clients.
• Provide detailed response and resolution of inquiries from clients concerning payment file transmission and payment issues
• Understand data model and use SQL to retrieve and study payment data
• Develop payment data reports and analyze to identify issues caused by un-posted and missing payments. Payment issues may include analysis of un-posted payments, returned checks, insufficient account funds or missing payment details.
• Work directly with internal and external contacts to assist in resolution of payment problems due to incorrect payments and transmission issues
• Follow and enforce established policies and procedures
• Assist other department associates with other duties as necessary
• Experience in leading small teams of junior analyst

• Understanding the layout, functionality, business content and information contained within a Content Service URL, web site, or data feed
• Development and maintenance of specifications which includes mapping the financial information on the content service to the data model. 
• Applying analytics on data to identify performance issues and recommend improvements.
• Data quality initiatives to insure that gathered information for all Agents is accurate.

Education Required: Bachelors Degree from a reputed institute
 
Experience Required: 1-4 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry (Banking, Finance, and Insurance).
 
Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Proficient in SQL and database concepts
• Sound understanding of data model and prior knowledge of developing SQL reports is preferable
• Experience with database client tools like SQL Plus is an added advantage
• Computer navigation skills and software knowledge, preferably Windows, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Web-Savvy with good internet research skills
