JOB DEFINITION

To support supply chain, specifically Production by ensuring timely delivery of goods through deploying effective Stores Management Principles like control of inventory, Just in time etc in a multilocation context

KEY FEATURES/RESPONSIBILITIES

>Receipt and storage of materials by applying  ABC principles

>Ensuring required Physical stock by appling Shelf Life Control

>Ensuring Physical Safety of all Raw materials at multi locations

>Supply Materials to Production in co-ordination with Production Plannning

>Track inventory status on an ongoing basis

>Providing timely & effective MIS on Inventory

>Managing Scrap Disposal

>Ensure adherance to ISO 9000,14001,HSSE norms in stores Activity

>Develop the team members of stores into High Performers

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED

>Indepth knowledge on Stores management of a Large scale manufacturing Industry

>Knowledge in MS office applications and ERP, preferably Oracle based  ERP

>Ability to implement best practices in material management, warehousing and work with 3PL warehousing environment

>Knowledge on Central Exercise & Custom Matter

>Process orientation

>Leadership Skills- Capablity of managining the team in Stores, effective interpersonal skills

>Excellent communicaton on both verbal and written.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate Engineer/ Science Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Materials management

EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

10 to 12 years of experience in Manufacturing / Engineering industry.

Desired:

Experience in Photovoltaic / Solar industry will be preferred.
