Roles and responsibility for
Test Engineer, leading IT services company, Bangalore :
- Specialize in testing web applications, validating them against Functional Specifications (including wireframes, style guides, & content specs.)
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases
- Execute test suites.
- File clear and concise defect reports
- Assist the Professional Services and Product Development teams in replicating product defects
- Review test plans & test cases
- Verify bug fixes
- Assist in replicating and diagnosing customer problems
- Ensure that Yodlee’s suite of applications is delivered to our clients with the highest level of quality
Requirements for
Test Engineer, leading IT services company, Bangalore :
- Experience testing applications through a complete software development release cycle from start to finish.
- 2 years Java Development experience and testing using JUnit.
- Experience with SQL, PL-SQL
- A solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies, including SQA best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Ability to develop test plans and test cases without having a full functional specification.
- Ability to perform exploratory testing with or without a user manual.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
- Ability to work independently and follow-through on tasks.
- Ability to estimate task durations and meet schedules.
- Must have excellent written / verbal communication skills and professional work ethics.
- Must be a good collaborator who is detail-oriented, pro-active, and able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
